Description

The Leica Disto X1 is a ruggedised laser rangefinder, intended for dusty or damp indoor sites. Its housing combines rubber and glass-fibre reinforced plastic: it withstands falls of two metres and its IP65 rating allows cleaning under water. The range covers 0.05 to 100 metres, with an accuracy of 1.5 mm and a memory of up to 7,000 measurements. The four-line PMVA screen displays several values at once. Tested to the ISO 16331-1 standard, the instrument keeps its performance outside the laboratory, in the field. NFC connectivity removes pairing: bringing the rangefinder close to the smartphone is enough to transfer the data to the Disto Plan application, for viewing and documenting; Bluetooth is also supported. One person alone is enough to take a distance, in a few seconds and at a single press of a button. Two AAA batteries provide the power. The device is supplied with its storage pouch and its batteries.
