Description
The Leica Disto X6 is a laser distance meter intended for demanding sites: rugged housing tested in a two-metre drop, IP65 protection against dust and water jets, scratch-resistant display glass. Its digital viewfinder camera finds the target again in the crosshairs on the display, even when the laser dot is no longer visible. The 2.8 inch touchscreen, backed by a side measurement button, makes taking a measurement quick, and the memory holds up to a thousand measurements. The stated accuracy is 1 mm in favourable conditions and 2 mm in unfavourable conditions, for a range of 0.02 to 200 metres that falls to 0.05–150 metres as conditions deteriorate. The Bluetooth 5.0 link sends the results to the Disto Plan app, which is not supplied with the instrument. Combined with the Leica TRI120 tripod and then the Leica DST 360-X, the instrument switches to point-to-point mode. It is supplied with a pouch, a USB cable and a calibration certificate, under a three-year warranty.
