Description
The Leica GST4 tripod star is placed between the legs of a tripod to lock their spread. On slippery surfaces, where the tripod risks opening out under the load of the instrument, it keeps the set-up stable throughout the survey and preserves the quality of the station. It is an everyday item for teams that have to work indoors, on finished floors that give the points no grip. Leica Geosystems lists it among its tripod accessories.
