Description

The OHRA roofed cantilever racking shelters long goods stored outdoors from the weather, without putting up a building. Uprights and arms are made in hot-rolled solid-web IPE steel sections, and the height of the arms is set through the suspended hooking system. The roof pitch is determined case by case, according to the drainage network of the site and the size of the forklift trucks that will run under the structure; the roof covering and the water run-off are among the services offered. Rear and side walls of various kinds complete the protection when exposure to wind or rain calls for it. The standard model is hot-dip galvanised, a treatment suited to permanent exposure to the weather. The structural calculations needed to file a planning application are supplied, the snow and wind loads specific to the region being taken into account when choosing the sections.
