OHRA mobile cantilever racking on travelling carriages

The mobile version of the cantilever, this system does away with fixed aisles: the rows stand side by side and part only when an item has to be reached, by hand or by electric control. Depending on the configuration chosen, storage capacity rises by up to 100% without enlarging the building, which makes it a fitting answer for bulky goods that are rarely accessed — aluminium sections, theatre and opera sets, long products from the timber trade. The travelling carriages resist twisting; the rows reach 60 metres in length and load capacities of 200 tonnes. The rails can be laid in an existing building, without rebuilding the floor of the whole building. With the rows closed up, the installation blocks forklift access and protects valuable goods outside working hours. Design, planning and installation are carried out by the manufacturer.
