OHRA mobile racking system on mobile bases

Description

The OHRA mobile racking system eliminates permanent aisles: the upright frames sit on torsion-resistant carriages that run on rails recessed into the floor, and only one aisle opens at a time, where the operator is working. Storage capacity can thus increase by up to 100% with the same floor space. Movement is by hand crank or electric motorization, with control via radio remote control. The bases reach 60 meters in length with a load capacity of up to 200 tons. The principle applies to both pallet racking and cantilever racking, and the rails can be installed in an existing building. Safety relies on front and side photoelectric barriers, limit switches, light signaling, and a Siemens S7 control system; the entire system complies with BGR 234 and CE standards. The night position closes the blocks and protects the goods from theft.
