Shaper 6 mm Spiral Bit

Description

This Shaper “6 mm Spiral Bit” is a solid carbide cutting tool intended for the Shaper Origin and other compatible routers. Solid carbide holds its cutting edge even after long hours of machining, for clean, long-lasting cuts. Depending on its geometry, it suits cutting, grooving or engraving in a wide range of materials: timber in all its forms, plastics and, on certain profiles, non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, as well as acrylic. It is held in a collet matched to the 6 mm shank diameter, to be chosen from the collet range in the shop. Its design aims at an even surface finish and good chip clearance. Spindle speed, feed rate and plunge depth are set according to the material being worked.
