Shaper Origin

Description

Shaper Origin is a handheld CNC that creates a user-defined cuttable contour. Using a camera and adhesive tape called ShaperTape, the machine orients itself on a surface, for example an already-installed floor. Origin compensates for the inevitable imprecisions that manual work introduces by correcting movements within a 12.7 mm diameter. When the bit moves out of this correction zone, it is automatically retracted to avoid damaging the material.
