Description
The TIMBERTEX vapour control layer is specially designed for timber construction, guaranteeing optimum airtightness and effective protection against condensation. Sturdy and tear-resistant, it allows controlled diffusion of water vapour through the thermal insulation, thereby preserving the durability of the building elements. Ideal for roofs, walls, floors and ceilings, this product is recyclable and easy to install. Key features: Sd value: 10 (+3) m, offering controlled diffusion of water vapour. Advantages: Sturdy and tear-resistant. Recyclable and environmentally friendly. Airtight and easy to install. Applications: Roofs, walls, ceilings and interior floors. Specific recommendations: Suitable for timber construction and for buildings requiring effective water vapour management to prevent condensation. Technical performance: Longitudinal elongation (EN 12311-1): 60 - 100%. Transverse elongation (EN 12311-1): 80 - 125%. Longitudinal tensile strength (EN 12311-1): 160 N/50 mm (± 30). Transverse tensile strength (EN 12311-1): 115 N/50 mm (± 25). Longitudinal tear resistance (EN 12310-1): 155 N (± 25). Transverse tear resistance (EN 12310-1): 200 N (± 30). Thickness: 0.5 mm. Weight: 100 g/m². Temperature resistance: -40 to 80 °C. Fire classification (EN 13501-1): E.
