Description
URBAS wood gasification cogeneration units, up to 500 kWel per line, running between 6,000 and 8,300 h per year. Thermochemical processes in a reactor turn the wood into a combustible gas; tars and dust are removed by filtration, then the cleaned gas feeds a gas engine coupled to a generator. Unlike combustion technologies (steam turbine, ORC), wood gas cogeneration needs no working fluid. Supplied by André Technologies (URBAS partner).
