Description

The Termolegno pre-dryer is a facility designed for the pre-drying of large volumes of wood, intended for companies with significant quantities to process. It is an alternative to natural drying and outdoor storage, enabling a slow and controlled reduction of moisture in green sawn timber. This step provides several benefits: reduced defects linked to natural air-drying such as shrinkage and checks, lower storage costs, shorter final drying time, and greater flexibility for the customer. Suitable for both hardwoods and softwoods, it covers loading capacities from 300 to 3,500 m³. The installation is entirely custom-designed according to the site’s needs.
