Termolegno steam steaming chamber

Description

The Termolegno steaming chamber carries out steam treatment of wood, in either direct or indirect version. Direct chambers are equipped with perforated stainless-steel piping from which low-pressure steam escapes; indirect chambers produce steam by heating, via a heat exchanger, an automatically filled water tank, also made of stainless steel. Both systems change the color of the wood and reduce its internal stresses. As steam is highly corrosive, Termolegno uses a high-quality aluminum-magnesium alloy, with silicone seals and cable conduits suitable for high temperatures. Loading capacity ranges from 20 to 120 m³. An electronic control unit and probes ensure automatic cycle management.
