Bredius sports complex

The Bredius sports complex in Muiden, the Netherlands, is an exemplary circular construction project. The municipality of Gooise Meren relied on Rendemint’s PrP tool to guarantee responsible sourcing, tracing the flows of materials, products and waste. Designed by Lichtstad Architecten and built by Rots Bouw BV, the building illustrates a new sustainable approach combining fire safety, environmental performance and good looks.

LDCwood® ThermoWood® pine, fire-retardant treated with Burnblock® by Lemahieu Fire Protection, clads the facades while meeting strict standards of stability and environmental performance.

The project won the Archello 2023 award in the “Sports and Leisure” category, for its innovation, its sustainability and its social relevance.
