Inchicore school

The project, carried out by Donaghy + Dimond Architects, involved the renovation of Inchicore National School in Dublin, a nineteenth-century building. The modernised structure is wrapped in curtain walling and chestnut cladding from sustainable European forests, helping it to fit into its surroundings. This pioneering design has won several architectural awards, including the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) prize for best educational building in 2015.
