Mountain house – Trièves

A timber house built in 2020 at Tréminis, in the Trièves (Isère), by Alain Gardinetti, a carpenter with 33 years’ experience. Erected in three days by three people thanks to insulated Blokiwood blocks, open to water vapour diffusion and airtight. A mountain house that uses remarkably little energy: after ten days away with no heating in winter, the indoor temperature was still 19 °C.
