New office building at Rennes University Hospital

Rennes University Hospital is a project designed with CRR Ecritures Architecturales and OTEIS Conseil & Ingénierie and built by Eiffage Construction in joint contracting with Savare. Spread over 6 levels, the scheme demonstrates Savare’s expertise, since it combines mastery of upstream design, manufacture and on-site installation with environmental performance.

The brief meets ambitious targets: in line with the RE2020 environmental regulations, the building’s life cycle assessment shows that the scheme already meets the 2028 environmental targets, with a performance of 528.66 kg CO2 eq/m², i.e. -38% against the RE2020 regulatory threshold. The scheme also reaches 100 kg/m² of bio-based products thanks to the extensive use of wood in all its forms. It has moreover been awarded the Bâtiment Bas Carbone label at Excellent level!
