Renovation of Soria old town

For the restoration of the surroundings of the church of La Mayor in Soria, architect Axel Klein O’Farrel and the Buildworks studio designed an enclosure of 1,331 timber slats surrounding the archaeological ruins uncovered beside the church apse. The carefully considered lighting brings out the night-time beauty of the historic centre.
