Timber house in the Var – Saint-Maximin

A Blokiwood timber house in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, in the Var, in the PACA region. This Provençal-inspired house — render, génoise cornices, hipped roof — reverses the regional trend with large triple-glazed picture windows to the south. Thanks to the thermal lag of the 200 mm wood fibre insulation, the house never exceeds 25 °C in high summer, without air conditioning, despite facing due south.
