Vigo refurbishment, ANSEDE&QUINTANS

Starting from a derelict 1960s apartment, the architects Alberto Quintáns and Cristina Ansede created a contemporary space while preserving the soul of the place. The concrete structure of the ceiling was retained, while the chestnut doors and gallery were restored with their original parts. The whole project rests on fine materials such as solid chestnut and lime render, with carefully executed marble and stoneware finishes in the kitchen and the bathroom.
