Ardemo

Ardemo is a French manufacturer of suspended ceilings and acoustic wall claddings in wood. Based in Vieillevigne, in Loire-Atlantique (Pays de la Loire), the company was founded in 2018 by Benoît Dugast and Frédéric Pichaud. It employs around twenty people and has seen sustained growth since 2020. In 2024, it invested in a new site and bought the Finition 2000 varnishing workshop, in the Vendée, to strengthen control of its finishing chain. The company designs and manufactures in France ceilings and wall coverings for commercial buildings (offices, schools, libraries, healthcare establishments, shops). Its core business combines the aesthetics of wood with acoustic correction, with an in-house design office that develops bespoke solutions. Its slats are fixed using a patented installation system allowing simplified assembly and disassembly of the panels. The range is organized around several lines: Ecogrid (customizable slats), Artgrid (openwork panels), Deltagrid (acoustic islands) and Ecogrid Cycléo, made from reused wood. The species offered include pine and oak, with finishes ranging from natural to tinted, and bespoke species such as beech, Douglas fir or poplar. Ardemo claims entirely French production and sources wood from sustainably managed forests. With its Cycléo range, developed in partnership with the merchant Articonnex, it commits to wood reuse, making use of beams and manufacturing offcuts.
