BWK

BWK is a German manufacturer of ventilation and sealing accessories for roofs and facades. Founded in 1989 by Hartmut Layer, the company is of German origin and manufactures its products in Germany. It is present in France via its subsidiary BWK France, based in Woustviller, Moselle, and relies on a logistics platform of around 7,000 m² that enables it to ensure short delivery times across Europe. The company specializes in roof and facade ventilation as well as airtightness and wind/rain sealing of building envelopes, including for timber frames and wood-frame structures. In particular, it designs membranes, some of which are made from polyester fiber, and highlights research and development activity on materials and manufacturing processes. The range includes airtightness systems (vapor barriers and vapor retarders), wind/rain sealing systems, moisture barrier screens and damp-proof course strips, ventilation profiles and accessories, as well as fastening products and accessories for renders and external thermal insulation systems (ETICS), intended for roofs, frames, facades and wood-frame structures. BWK claims the « Made in Germany » label and places quality requirements at the heart of its production, with products manufactured in Germany.
