Ecomaison

Ecomaison is the eco-organization approved by the French State to manage the sorting, collection, repair, reuse and recycling of household objects and materials: furniture, bedding, decorative textiles, construction products and materials, DIY and garden items, toys. Historically created around furniture in 2011 under the name Eco-mobilier, Ecomaison expanded its scope in 2022 and now collects nearly 2 million tonnes of household and building objects and materials every year, 98% of which are recycled (reuse, recycling, energy recovery). Before its creation, 55% of furniture was landfilled. Ecomaison’s progress and innovations make the eco-organization a leading player in the Circular Economy. As of 1 January 2027, manufacturers, distributors and importers must identify and declare their professional packaging and manage its collection. Ecomaison adds another string to its bow and also supports its members in the Professional Packaging stream, in partnership with CITEO PRO.
