ELVEDI is a German manufacturer of industrial racking systems for storing long goods. Founded in 1984 in Dübendorf, in Switzerland, the company has manufactured its systems since 1989 in Blumberg, in the south of the Black Forest (Germany), where its head office and production are located. It relies on a network of representatives in Switzerland, Austria, France, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Denmark, Norway and the Netherlands, ensuring delivery and service across Europe. ELVEDI's core business is the design and manufacture of cantilever racking (with load-bearing arms), particularly suited to storing long products such as panels, profiles and tubes. This racking is among the most-used solutions in its range and finds direct application in the wood sector, for storing panels and long timber. The company highlights “Made in Germany” manufacturing. The range covers cantilever racking (bespoke SL, SM and SC types), pallet racking, special racking, shelf racking, storage platforms and the construction of self-supporting racking halls. Heights reach twelve meters and load capacities per arm range from 110 kg to 3.7 tonnes. ELVEDI offers bespoke configurations as well as racking inspections. The products carry CE marking to the EN 1090-1 standard, with steel documented by an inspection certificate (EN 10204 / ISO 10474) and welding compliant with the EN 1090-2 and EN 1993-1 standards. The design follows the Eurocodes (including DIN EN 15512) and hot-dip galvanizing meets the ISO 1461 and ISO 14713-1 standards. Inspections are carried out by DEKRA- and TÜV-certified staff.
