Kosche Holzwerkstoffe

Kosche is a German manufacturer of wood-based materials, a member of the häussermann group since 2013. Based in Much, in North Rhine-Westphalia, the company joined the häussermann group in 2011, alongside its subsidiary Kovalex GmbH (a manufacturer of WPC boards and panels), as part of the group's expansion, which also brings together häussermann (solid wood) and Maier Holztec (coating technology, furniture components). The group now has more than 300 staff across 3 sites. Kosche's core business is manufacturing interior and exterior finishing materials in wood and composite materials, with particular expertise in surface-ennobling technology (more than 600 decors and a wide choice of veneers available). The range covers bespoke mouldings and profiles (from 1,000 linear meters), Akustik Wall acoustic panels (usable indoors and in covered outdoor areas), MDF wall panels, as well as wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking boards under the Kovalex brand, complemented by skirting boards, privacy fences and installation accessories. Kosche was the first German company to receive the "Blauer Engel" environmental label for its WPC skirting boards, made of at least 70% wood fibre, PVC-free and recyclable. Kosche highlights an ISO 50001:2018-certified energy management system, as well as PEFC and FSC certifications guaranteeing that the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests.
