Sivalbp

Sivalbp is a French manufacturer of wood cladding and panelling in softwood. Based in Thônes, in Haute-Savoie, in the heart of the Alps, the company was created in 2008 and manufactures all its output on a single site in France. Presenting itself as a human-scale business, it supports project owners, project managers and private individuals in their construction and renovation projects. Its core business is based on processing softwood and machining cladding boards, offered planed, brushed, fine-sawn brushed or chamfered. Sivalbp masters in particular thermo-stabilization, a chemical-free heat treatment that enhances the durability of wood, and claims to be the first certified manufacturer for its thermo-stabilized cladding solution. The cladding range comes in four profiles (traditional, mock open-jointed, open-jointed, cover-joint) and six collections covering natural, pre-greyed, painted or charred-wood finishes. Interior panelling completes the offer with the Fahrenheit, Drywood and Steamwood collections. The species worked include Red Cedar, larch, Douglas fir and several Northern and Alpine spruce variants, including thermo-stabilized versions. Sourcing comes from sustainably managed, PEFC-certified forests. The company holds the CTB B+ and CTB Bardage EcoThermo certifications issued by FCBA, as well as the Bois de France label for its French-origin species. The production site is powered by a biomass boiler and recovers its waste in a circular-economy approach.
