Studio Gardoni Architectures

Lyon · France
Studio Gardoni Architectures is a French architecture firm, founded by Pierre Gardoni and based in Lyon. Established in 2012 as a SAS (SIREN 750 122 996), the firm grew to as many as around ten employees before being acquired by the Strasbourg-based group K&+ Architecture Globale, which made it its Lyon branch; the company Studio Gardoni was struck off the trade register at the end of December 2025, with its business now continuing under the group’s brand. The firm views its profession as a “considered, reasonable and, if possible, moving” transformation of existing buildings, positioning itself as a technical player able to bring together the different engineering disciplines of a project. Its areas of work cover sports and cultural facilities, educational buildings, reception structures for vulnerable groups, multi-family housing, security facilities (fire stations) as well as interventions on existing built heritage. The public sources consulted do not show any stated specialization in timber construction: the firm presents itself as a generalist architecture practice, so its relevance for a timber marketplace remains to be confirmed on a project-by-project basis.
