UPM ProFi

UPM ProFi is a brand of high-performance wood-plastic composite decking and cladding from the Finnish UPM group. Launched in 2005, the brand is part of the UPM group, a Finnish industrial player from the forest and paper sector. ProFi products are designed and manufactured at two European sites, in Lahti in Finland and in Bruchsal in Germany. The range is distributed in France through a network of specialized merchants. UPM ProFi has developed a specialty of composite material made from recycled materials, mainly paper and plastic offcuts from the production of self-adhesive labels, residues otherwise destined for landfill or incineration. The share of recycled materials reaches, depending on the reference, from 55% to 97%. The result is a splinter-free, stain-resistant and easy-to-maintain composite, positioned as a sustainable alternative to wood for outdoor use. The catalog covers composite decking boards available in several ranges (including ProFi Terra and ProFi Deck), as well as cladding, screens, stair nosings and anti-slip coverings. The products come in several shades and finishes, with textured profiles and dedicated installation systems. UPM ProFi composites carry CE marking and PEFC chain-of-custody certification, obtained for the Lahti and Bruchsal production, attesting to the link with sustainable forest management and the use of recycled materials.
