Yeti Tool is a British manufacturer of CNC woodworking machines, the maker of the SmartBench router. Based in Portishead, in south-west England, the company designs and assembles its products in the United Kingdom. A specialist in smart tools for the workshop, it made its name with the SmartBench, a large-format CNC router designed to be transportable. Placed in administration in 2024, its business and range were taken over by Trend, a British tool manufacturer. Yeti Tool's core business is the portable large-format CNC router. The SmartBench stands out for its transportable format: it machines panels up to 2.5 m x 1.25 m, dismantles in a few minutes and stores easily, making it suitable for both the workshop and site work. Design, engineering, manufacturing and testing are carried out in the United Kingdom. The range is based on several versions of the SmartBench: PrecisionPro, PrecisionPro + (with the YetiPilot assisted-machining function) and PrecisionPro X intended for more intensive use, also available in a Mini format for small spaces. It is complemented by accessories (SC1 and SC2 spindles, touch console, extraction system, cutting stylus), cutting tools and control software, all compatible with common CAD/CAM suites such as Fusion 360 and Vectric. Yeti Tool highlights the vertical integration of its production, from design to shipping, ensuring quality control. The company has no publicly communicated product certification (CE, ISO).
