Description

This decking pedestal, 20.5 cm in diameter, comes in a fixed 10 mm version and in five adjustable ranges: 20 to 30 mm, 40 to 60 mm, 50 to 80 mm, 80 to 140 mm and 140 to 230 mm. It allows Optima composite boards to be laid on stabilised ground or on a slab, taking up differences in level. Caution: laying on pedestals requires a self-supporting structure of timber joists 45 × 95 mm in section, built in accordance with DTU 51.4 on external timber decking; the Océwood composite joists, reserved for laying on a concrete slab, are not suitable here. The pedestal completes the manufacturer's decking system, made up of the Optima Eko or Optima Plus boards, the joists, the Optima clips and, optionally, the finishing trim angles. Made in France, each pedestal is guaranteed for 10 years. The decking installation instructions detail the centre-to-centre spacing of the joists and the setting out of the pedestals.
