Description
The Micro Grinder VNC is a CNC-controlled grinding machine dedicated to servicing DSB band saw blades. Its enclosed construction makes it an ideal solution for wet grinding, a method that preserves the tooth geometry. The generously sized grinding wheel, combined with powerful cooling, guarantees consistent sharpening results along the whole blade. Beyond its mechanics, the machine pays attention to ergonomics and electronics: understandable settings, simple handling and a swivelling screen on which the sharpening parameters are entered. Its intuitive software can store programs, which greatly reduces set-up times when changing saw type. The machine suits the sharpening of any type of band saw blade, for blade widths from 50 to 300 mm, with every common tooth form. An extraction unit is available as an option to remove the grinding mist.
