Description
The Micro Grinder NC is an automatic CNC-controlled sharpening machine intended for servicing thin-kerf DSG frame saw blades and scraper saws, for industrial applications calling for consistent sharpening quality. Its magazine allows automated loading and grouping of around one hundred blades, giving six to eight hours of fully automatic operation in a single session. Tooth forms and pitch are freely programmable to suit the application, and the grinding wheel benefits from adjustable cyclical cleaning. Accuracy is reinforced by automated height measurement of each blade, which limits stock removal, and by a wet sharpening device that looks after the surface finish; special wheels are available for Stellite and carbide blades. Handling is through a touchscreen, with simplified loading and unloading of the magazine and a favourites list for frequently used geometries.
