Description
The Tension Master is a saw winding device used to re-tension thin-kerf saw blades. To obtain a uniform cutting quality with this type of blade, they have to be tensioned with a high force. This tensile stress matters particularly in the tooth area, because that is where the cutting forces act: correctly applied tension keeps the blade stable at work and therefore keeps the kerf consistent. The Tension Master thus ensures optimum tension in the tooth area, contributes to high cutting accuracy and helps extend the service life of thin-kerf blades. It comes with the Tension Control, a checking device for inspecting thin-kerf blades once they have been tensioned. It is an essential servicing complement for workshops using thin-kerf blades.
