Sealing accessories
Description
A rigid profile in bare aluminium intended to seal the junctions between flashings or aprons and roof elements. Unlike the bendable model, this is a straight profile, used on straight junctions where no shaping is needed. Installation calls for particular care: the profile must be positioned so as to press the sealing strips beneath against the substrate, failing which the junction would stay permeable. It is fixed with screws through the holes provided, and the top of the profile is then sealed with a suitable mastic. Length 3 metres, section 6 x 60 mm, bare aluminium finish. Packing is thirty-three 3-metre pieces per bundle, that is close to one hundred linear metres, a format suited to large roofing sites.
