Description
A lighter version of the facade breather membrane in the range, this three-layer polyester membrane pairs a monolithic film permeable to water vapour with integrated adhesive strips along the edges, on either side of the membrane. The glue-on-glue bond obtained at the transverse overlap provides wind tightness with no added tape. The membrane keeps the insulation dry by ruling out stray air movements, and protects structural timber against wind, rain and dust. The polyester gives it good resistance to ultraviolet light and to temperature swings. It complies with NF EN 13859-2 and with DTU 31.2 and 31.4 on timber frame houses and facades. Unlike the standard version, the cladding or facing must be fitted within six months at most. Rolls of 75 m², 50 x 1.5 m.
