BWK Difflex Thermo Façade SK breather membrane

Description

A facade breather membrane made up of a polyester non-woven with a special coating, highly permeable to water vapour and airtight. The integrated adhesive strips on either side create a glue-on-glue bond that provides wind tightness at the transverse overlaps. By keeping the insulation dry and free of stray air movements, the membrane contributes directly to the thermal performance of the wall. It protects the framing and the insulation whatever the cladding, close-jointed, perforated or open-boarded, and meets NF EN 13859-2 as well as DTU 31.2 and 31.4. Its resistance to ultraviolet light allows exposed areas of unlimited size; the cladding must however give sufficient protection against mechanical impact, and the manufacturer advises covering it within three months. The Façade B variant answers public buildings requiring a class B fire rating.
