Description

A double-sided adhesive strip pairing a dispersion acrylic adhesive with a polyester reinforcement, protected by a silicone paper. It is intended for even and smooth substrates: aluminium, wood, metal and rigid PVC. The product is used for bonding the overlaps on polyethylene vapour barrier films and for connecting the membrane to joinery. In the 40 mm width it serves a second purpose, the temporary holding of airtightness membranes, vapour control layers or vapour barriers, on their substrate before final fixing by the lining: this pre-fixing avoids needless perforation of the membrane, a classic source of air leaks. Two widths are offered, 19 and 40 mm, in 50-metre rolls. Packing is fifteen rolls per carton in 19 mm and twelve rolls in 40 mm.
