BWK Infra four-layer anti-capillary damp-proof course strip

Description

Damp-proof course strip made of a four-layer composite combining an LDPE coating, an aluminum foil, a woven HDPE scrim and a polypropylene nonwoven. The assembly is watertight and water-vapor-tight, and resists alkalis as well as bitumen, two common attacks when in contact with fresh masonry or a bituminous structure. The product forms a type A anti-capillary barrier within the meaning of standards NF EN 14909 and EN 13967+A1, which respectively govern barriers against rising damp in walls and from the ground. It complies with DTU 20.1 for small-unit masonry works and DTU 31.2 for timber-frame constructions, and holds certification from the German DIBt. Nine widths are offered, from 11.5 cm to 1 meter, in 50-meter rolls.
