Description
A self-adhesive butyl rubber sealing bead, intended for the overlap joints between roofing sheets, whether metal or fibre cement. It is laid straight away: the bead is run out over the overlap area, and the upper sheet then compresses it and closes the joint. Solvent-free and stable in volume, it causes no corrosion, which allows it to be used on all the usual roofing materials, including in prolonged contact with steel or aluminium. The absence of shrinkage over time preserves the seal of the overlap despite expansion cycles. Two widths are listed, 7 and 8 mm, the packing varying with the size chosen. The product completes the sealing strips and tapes in the range on roofs in large elements.
