Description

A vapour control membrane built on two polyester non-wovens framing a functional membrane. The choice of polyester answers a precise use: protecting insulation in a space whose fitting-out is deferred, the membrane waiting for the finishing elements, plasterboard or panelling, without breaking down or cracking. It also suits installation from the outside, in sarking or in roof renovation with insulation between the rafters. The protection times stated by the manufacturer are five years in an enclosed space and three months outdoors. The membrane creates an airtight internal envelope, limits vapour diffusion so as to rule out internal condensation and avoids trapping moisture in frames and roof structures carrying residual moisture. Resistant to ultraviolet light and to heat up to 120 °C, it complies with NF EN 13984.
