Description
A supple and strong polyethylene membrane, classed as a type A vapour barrier and therefore watertight. Two versions differ in their weight: the Basic version at 120 g/m² and the Ultra version at 190 g/m², the latter offering better mechanical strength on sites exposed to foot traffic. The membrane creates the airtight internal envelope, protects the insulation from stray air movements, limits vapour diffusion into the insulation and the structural timber, and rules out the risk of internal condensation and of a dew point within the wall. It targets rooms of low, medium and high humidity. It complies with DTU 31.2, notably where the permeance of the external build-up is reduced or where there is no ventilated air gap and an Sd value above 90 m is required, and with DTU 40.29 and 26.2. Rolls of 100 m², 25 x 4 m.
