BWK Solid SD 1500 reinforced aluminium vapour barrier for high humidity

Description

A membrane closed to water vapour diffusion, made up of a reinforced aluminium foil paired with a synthetic film. The reinforced aluminium gives this membrane a level of closure far above the polyethylene vapour barriers in the range, which points it towards rooms of high humidity. It creates the airtight internal envelope, protects the insulation from stray air movements, limits vapour diffusion within the wall so as to rule out internal condensation and dew points, and avoids moisture traps in frames and roof structures. It complies with DTU 31.2, notably in configurations where the permeance of the external build-up is reduced or where there is no ventilated air gap, when the requirement is for an Sd value above 90 m, and with the CPT and Rage guides on the permeance ratio between wall layers. Rolls of 75 m².
