Description
A membrane pairing a polypropylene non-woven with a Linobarrier functional membrane, used as a vapour barrier and an airtightness membrane. The non-woven gives it a textile feel and good tear resistance when stapled, where a bare polyethylene film is more fragile. It creates the airtight internal envelope, protects the insulation from stray air movements, limits vapour diffusion within the wall and prevents both internal condensation and moisture traps in frames and roof structures. It targets rooms of low, medium and high humidity. The product complies with DTU 31.2, with DTU 40.29 which requires an Sd value of at least 18 m for a vapour barrier laid on the warm side of roof insulation with no ventilation beneath, with DTU 45.10 and with NF EN 13984. Two widths, 1.5 and 3 metres.
