Description

A supple adhesive tape in reinforced polyethylene, faced with vaporised aluminium and coated with a dispersion acrylic adhesive. It is specifically intended for bonding the overlaps of airtightness membranes, vapour control layers or vapour barriers, faced with aluminium: the identical surface of tape and membrane guarantees an even bond and continuity of the vapour barrier at the joint. The manufacturer restricts its use to indoor work, on smooth and even substrates only, which rules out outdoor applications and rough substrates. Three widths are offered, 50, 75 and 100 mm, in 50-metre rolls. Packing follows the width chosen: thirty-six rolls per carton in 50 mm, twenty-four in 75 mm and eighteen in 100 mm.
