Description

A reinforced humidity-variable membrane, made up of two polypropylene non-wovens, a scrim and a functional membrane of variable permeance in the central part. The reinforcement is what sets it apart from the unreinforced version: it makes installation safe on sites where the membrane takes mechanical loads before being protected by the lining. The humidity-variable behaviour matches the resistance to vapour diffusion to the moisture level in the wall, which allows drying towards the inside in the warm season. The membrane creates the airtight internal envelope, protects the insulation from stray air movements and rules out moisture traps in frames and roof structures. It targets rooms of low and medium humidity and the design of breathable walls. It complies with CPT 3560 V2 of June 2009 and with NF EN 13984. An SK version with integrated adhesive strips makes the overlaps easier.
