Description
A double-sided self-adhesive sealing tape in modified bitumen on a plastic base, protected by a silicone paper. It is placed under the counter batten when the roofing underlay is finally fixed and closes the material around each nail or screw, dealing with the weak point that the perforation of the underlay represents. It thus makes it possible to build a roof secured against driving rain and contributes to the temporary weatherproofing of the covering, in line with classes 1 and 2 of the ZVDH standard. It is also used to form sealed upstands on walls or chimney stacks. This tape is the complement prescribed by the manufacturer for lowering the admissible pitch of certain underlays in the range down to 5 degrees. Width 50 mm, 10-metre rolls, delivered in cartons of six.
