Description
The Chamechaude is a single-car carport of local French manufacture, made in spruce by the sawmill and presented in its natural colour. It is delivered as a ready-to-assemble kit, with traditional mortise-and-tenon joints pegged in wood that hold the frame together. The kit comes with its full set of ironmongery: adjustable post bases, anchor bolt, coach screw, wooden pegs and screws. It is installed on a concrete slab or concrete pads. Coming from sustainably managed forests, the timbers carry the Bois des Alpes and PEFC certifications. Several options are offered to complete the shelter: tile or steel sheet covering, flashings, roof boarding, solid Douglas fir version, installation and delivery.
