Scierie Eymard

Scierie Eymard is a French softwood sawyer and timber builder based in the Alps. Located in Veurey-Voroize, in the Isère, at the gateway to Grenoble, the family business was founded in 1899 and is now run by the fifth generation. Leaving the Vercors in 1979 to move closer to the Grenoble conurbation, it now brings together 35 staff and processes more than 60,000 m³ of logs per year thanks to automated equipment. Its business covers purchasing, sawing, treatment and timber construction, organized around three complementary hubs: sawing, planed products and construction. The sawmill sources local softwoods (fir, spruce, Douglas fir) from the Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne massifs, and masters the chain from unloading to drying and wood treatment. The catalog includes squared sawn timber and round wood, planed products (facings, cladding, shutter boards, decking boards), as well as a construction offer: roof structures, chalets, agricultural buildings, carports, garden sheds, pergolas and outdoor furniture. The company produces standard products as well as bespoke manufacturing, supported by a design office and a machining center. Scierie Eymard promotes local wood and is certified PEFC, Bois des Alpes, CE, CTB and IPPC.
