CM DP edge rounding and flush trim cutters HSK 25R, Homag are designed for use on Homag edge banding machines with the BF40 unit. Their field of application covers rounding edge bands in solid wood, veneer and plastics. Stated design features: with axial angle, polished tooth face and polished clearance face, 13° trailing angle and max. speed = 24,000 rpm. Claimed strengths: excellent cut quality thanks to a high level of concentricity and vibration-free rotation, optimised chip extraction (ChipMeister), the machine is no longer cluttered with chips and malfunctions caused by chips eliminated. The series comprises 12 versions: outside diameter of 70.57 mm, cutting width of 20 mm, overall length of 24.3 mm and 4 teeth. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Points to watch flagged by the manufacturer: Z = 4 for feeds of 20 to 30 m/min, direction of rotation to VDMA 8849, and no sharpening provided for.
