Description

Colorless, satin finish for exterior wood. Microporous, it lets the wood breathe and reduces wood shrinkage and swelling. Water-repellent, does not crack, peel, or blister. Penetrates deeply and smooths the wood surface from the first application. Can be recoated without sanding; a primer coat is not necessary. Easy to apply without brush marks. Does not dry during application. The dried coat is harmless to humans, animals and plants (resistant to sweat and saliva according to DIN 53160, suitable for children's toys according to EN 71.3). Osmo Colorless Oil Stain is a wood finish that offers extremely versatile application possibilities for exterior wood surfaces. It is ideal as a base coat for softwoods, especially rough-sawn wood or fragile, weathered and grayed wood, to compensate for different degrees of wood porosity. The Osmo Natural Oil Stain is also suitable as a slightly glossy finish over the HSPlus One-Coat Stain or Country Colour, if a satin and easy-care surface is desired: doors, windows and shutters (dimensionally accurate building components), carports, timber facades, balconies, fences, pergolas and garden sheds (building components with non-prescribed dimensions).
