CompactTec N CM DP hoggers for s-System Hydro LEUCO Ø 160 mm and equip double-end tenoners and edge banding machines. Applications intended by the manufacturer: chip-free sizing of raw, melamine-faced, paper-coated and PVC-coated, laminated and veneered wood-based materials. Design details given by the manufacturer: negative rake angle, tooth form: reverse bevel, with axial angle and sharpening capacity 4 mm. Benefits claimed in use: improved chip extraction through extraction integrated into the tool (ChipMeister), reduced cleaning times, reduced extraction power and long tool life thanks to the negative rake angle. The article group brings together 6 versions: outside diameter of 250 mm, bore of 60 mm, cutting width of 20 mm and number of teeth from 30 to 48. Cutting material: polycrystalline diamond (DP). Conditions of use specified by LEUCO: suitable for scoring/hogging (RZ) and double hogging (DZ), use with the feed for ripping and crosscutting, and laterally re-sharpenable.
